Internal Transfer Students

    Students in another day school at NU who wish to transfer into the College of Business Administration must meet the following eligibility requirements for the Degree Program to which they apply, either the BSBA: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or BSIB: Bachelor of Science in International Business.

    Please Note: meeting the requirements listed below makes students eligible for transfer, but does not guarantee them a spot in the CBA.


    Things to Consider before you apply
     

    • Students will be assigned to an in-school division for at least their first term
    • Upperclassmen may need to extend their graduation date in order to complete all CBA requirements
    • Mandatory orientation sessions will be held once you enter into the CBA


    BSBA Eligibility
     

    • Overall QPA of 2.8
    • Must earn a C or better in any business requirements taken before entering CBA, including Economics and Calculus
    • Upper-class students must transfer prior to their Junior Year


    Procedures
     

    Students who are interested in transferring to the College of Business BSBA program must meet with Susan Kolls, Internal Tranfer Advisor for NU, in 120 Hayden Hall to go over eligibility and application procedures and deadlines.     BSIB Eligibility
     

    • Overall QPA of 3.0
    • Must meet language requirements. Placement exams can be taken at the Modern Language Department. Results need to be submitted with the application
    • Must earn a C or better in any business requirements taken before entering the CBA, including Economics and Calculus


    Procedures
     

    Students who are interested in transferring to the College of Business BSIB program must fill out an application in 250 Dodge Hall.
