CBA Volunteers
The CBA Volunteer Club was established as a way to instill a sense of community in our future business leaders. Since the Fall of 2008, CBA students have been participating in service opportunities through various non-profit organizations in the Boston Area.
Some of our partnerships have included:
Junior Achievement – “Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating young people about business, economics, and free enterprise. JA programs are taught by volunteers in class and after school at locations throughout the United States of America and in 130 countries.”

Cradles to Crayons – “Cradles to Crayons was founded in 2002, with the mission of providing to children ages 0 to 12 some of the most important basics of life—free of charge. These basics include clothing, school supplies, toys, and much more. In other words, we provide all the physical goods that children need to be safe, protected from the elements, and ready to learn. And by supplying them with high-quality used or new goods, we make children feel valued.”

Community Servings – “Community Servings is dedicated to providing free home-delivered meals throughout Eastern Massachusetts to people homebound with HIV/AIDS and other acute life-threatening illnesses, who are unable to shop or cook for themselves. We provide our clients, their dependent families, and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, reaching out to those in greatest need.”

CBA students have also participated in university sponsored events such as NU Service Day, and continue to develop new opportunities for future projects.
