The IPBS features several distinctive elements. All students in IPBS programs:
- major in international business.
- engage in intensive study of a second language.
- complete a four to six month work assignment in their home country.
- participate in an exchange with one if the IPBS partner institutions.
- engange in extensive coursework at the partner institution.
- complete a four to six month work assignment in the host country.
The mission of the IPBS is to create international, multicultural, and experiential management-oriented programs that enhance the capacity of students to operate successfully in a global economy.
The IPBS is committed to:
- providing education in international management based on in-company experience and situational training.
- enhancing research in international management through publication of papers and organization of an annual scientific conference.
- developing regular and fruitful relationships through faculty exchanges.
