Dr. Goettle has expertise in economic and financial forecasting, modeling and analysis and the application of these to government and business planning. He has formal training in mathematics and computer science, business and management, and economics and finance.

Industry and Academic Experience
Dr. Goettle is the President, co-founder, and principal of the consulting firm Cambridge Planning and Analytics, Inc. He also continues his involvement in the prestigious work of Dale W. Jorgenson and his associates.
Dr. Goettle's modeling and analysis experience include energy and energy technology, the environment, the general economy, taxation, and the chemicals, metals, high technology, housing, and appliance industries. Dr. Goettle has directed projects for major foundations and corporations (the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, the Alliance to Save Energy, Sun Oil, ITT, Raytheon), government agencies (the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, the U.S. Treasury, the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Energy, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), the gas and electric power industries (the Gas Research Institute, the Electric Power Research Institute, and the Edison Electric Institute) and agencies in other countries (Brazil, Italy, and Korea). Dr. Goettle's work has supported an equally diverse range of analytical needs including the provision of economic forecasts, product studies, investment planning, the design and development of information and reporting systems, R&D management, project and policy analyses, and strategic planning. Finally, Dr. Goettle was the principal behind the design and development of DATADISK Information Services, Cambridge Planning's PC-based software and data product.
Professional Services
Dr. Goettle currently is the Treasurer of Cold River Camp, a volunteer-managed facility of the Appalachian Mountain Club. He continues to serve on the Finance and Legal Management Committee of the Girl Scouts Patriots Trail Council, where he also was a Board Member from 1994-2000. Finally, Dr. Goettle is a Director of The Goettle Holding Company, Inc., a Cincinnati-based construction firm with $75-100 million in annual sales. Dr. Goettle is a member of the American Economic Association and the Western Economic Association.
