Research and Teaching Interests

Professor Zack's research and teaching focuses on the use of information and knowledge to improve organizational performance, and the link between intellectual resources and competitive strategy.

Industry and Academic Experience

Professor Zack has served as CEO of a leasing company and as a management consultant with an international public accounting firm. He consults to a number of organizations in the areas of strategic information and knowledge management, collaborative technologies, and information product design.

Professional Services

Professor Zack is Associate Editor for the ACM Journal of Data and Information Quality and for the International Journal of Intellectual Capital and Learning. He served as an editorial board member for MIS Quarterly Executive. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for many journals. He has served on the advisory board of the International Conference for Organizational Learning Knowledge and Capabilities.
