Research and Teaching Interests

Professor Watkins’ research interests are in the area of gender, diversity, modern sexism, sexuality in the workplace, and organizational politics.

2007 INFORMS Organization Science Dissertation Competition Finalist

2007-2008 Murphy Center for Ethics and Public Affairs Graduate Fellowship, Competitive fellowship in support of dissertation research.

Industry and Academic Experience

Professor Watkins has done consulting work for NASA, The Legal Sales and Service Organization (LSSO), and Springboard-Partners. She has also worked as marketing manager for ClubMom, Incorporated. Prior to joining the College of Business Administration at Northeastern University, Professor Watkins was an instructor at Tulane University where she taught undergraduate business classes.
