Liz Johnson is the executive director of marketing strategy and communication for Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration where she develops and manages the College’s marketing and brand strategy, marketing communications, and public relations. She oversaw the successful development of the College’s new web site, which won a 2010 Web Award for Education Standard of Excellence from the Web Marketing Association. Ms. Johnson leads the College in the use of social media and the recent launch of the College’s mobile web site for smart phones. She came to Northeastern in 2002 with over fifteen years experience in executive management positions in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Her industry experience includes publishing, software and services, research, and education. Most recently Ms. Johnson served as vice president of marketing for MeansBusiness, working with organizations such as City University of London and Duke Corporate Education. She has served as vice president of marketing at Copyright Clearance Center, at Dataware Technologies, and at Installed Technology International (a division of International Data Group). Education: M.Ed from Northeastern University. 2007; BS in Management from Lesley University
