The Institute for Global Innovation Management was founded as an interdisciplinary institute. Current members and associates come from various disciplines within business, economics and law. They bring diverse research foci, educational and work backgrounds and substantial international experience to their work at the intersection of global management and innovation management.
This diversity is bridged by a common interest in integrated, practice-oriented research on organizations involved in global innovation in which technology forms a basis for competitive advantage; and a strong belief in educational and outreach activities to communicate this knowledge with academic, student and corporate audiences.
